Cappadocia Stone Hotel
Conversion of historic stone buildings into an 18-room boutique hotel with rock-cut rooms and modern comfort.
Restoration and interior design of three historic stone buildings were run together. The original arches and niches of each room were preserved while underfloor heating, concealed lighting and modern bathrooms were added.
Challenges
With walls up to 80 cm thick, service routes were agreed with the conservation board. A ventilation and lime-based plaster system was installed for moisture control.
Result
An average of 38 m² per room and a 4.6/5 guest rating.
